Roofing in Woy Woy: cottage roofs, tidal air, honest assessments
Woy Woy sits flat on Brisbane Water, which means tidal salt air without the full ocean blast β gentler than Terrigal, but constant. The housing stock is the Peninsula classic: post-war cottages with original terracotta or concrete tiles, and plenty of old corrugated iron, much of it at or past its 60th birthday. Some of those roofs restore well; plenty are genuinely done, and we'll tell you which honestly. With many retirees on the Peninsula, we're careful to recommend what the home actually needs β not the biggest job we can sell.
