Overflowing gutters are never just a gutter problem
Water that can't get away goes somewhere โ into eaves, behind fascia boards, down inside wall cavities or pooling against footings. The repair is almost always cheaper than the damage. If your gutters overflow in heavy rain, stain at the joints, or grow grass, they're telling you something.
- Overflow in heavy rain โ undersized, blocked or back-fallen gutters
- Drip stains at joints โ failed seals rusting from the inside
- Sagging runs โ brackets gone, water pooling instead of flowing
- Grass in the gutter โ it's been years; the damage downstream has started
